- Own front end development projects and support Design resource
- Own all back end development including system integration through Web Services and XML
- Support, maintain and administer all existing websites, online accounts and booking system
- Work closely with the Ecommerce Manager/Head of Ecommerce to ensure web developments are delivered effectively and within timescales and budgets
- Deliver website optimisation projects through testing tools
- Extend and add functionality to the sites through new development and plug ins
- Use Drupal 7 to deliver device responsive sites
- Monitor all sites to ensure high site speed and optimised performance
- Proactively assist in project planning phase to ensure plans are realistic and delivered on time
- Work with the Port Solent Web Development team to deliver larger scale Drupal web projects
- Maintain a strong understanding of the Drupal CMS to ensure we maximise the capability of the system
- Ensure appropriate testing is in place before and after changes are made
- Implement tracking and analytics on the websites to ensure user activity can be analysed and monitored
- Understand the importance of accessibility, search engine optimisation and usability in web development
- Monitor competitor and other websites and suggest initiatives accordingly
- Ensure all coding adheres to web standards
- Manage and use Linux, Apache and MySQL in conjunction with hosting suppliers
- Ensure all work is well documented
- Use revision control systems (GitHub) to ensure all work is tracked

About the role:
This role is all about maintaining accurate financial records for our Resort and helping to support the business from behind the scenes. Either way, you’ll have a passion for the leisure industry and a desire to pursue a career in Finance. You’ll certainly know your way around Microsoft Excel and if you have had some exposure to SAGE then that’s all the better. But just as important are your fantastic organisational skills, can-do attitude and the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
