What is the purpose of the role?

As a Client Project Manager you will lead a multi-discipline project team within a partnering environment. You will ensure that programmes of work deliver the objectives, and risks of the project are managed in line with business targets, alongside health and safety compliance.

You will take a lead role in the monitoring and forecasting of project expenditure and programme, whilst ensuring the effective delivery of the project .You will be responsible for identifying, communicating and reporting changes along with risk mitigation measures.

What skills are we looking for?

You must have the ability to work within a partnering environment, form and maintain excellent internal and external working relationships and be able to facilitate, mediate and resolve project issues.

To be successful you must have strong commercial understanding, programme monitoring and forecasting skills to ensure robust financial and commercial management.

Knowledge, Skills & Attributes:

You will have experience of building and maintaining effective internal and external relationships along with experience of project management and planning and financial / budget management.
An understanding of contract management is also essential as is the ability to present and communicate complex information to a wide range of audiences.
You will also have experience of influencing cross business teams and partnerships.
As you will be required to travel to different locations a full valid UK driving licence is essential.

Ideally you will have previous experience gained within the water or waste water sectors or within the broader utilities, process or manufacturing industry sectors.

You will be educated to "A" Level standard with a recognised accounting qualification, knowledge of technical and management accounting principles is a pre-requisite.
