Our successful client requires a confident and experienced Assistant Accountant to work within their growing team.

The ideal person will have the following:

• Experience working in a broad Accounting post covering management and financial accounting, cash flow, payroll processes, VAT, Sales & purchase ledger and credit control
• Professional Accounting qualification AAT/ CIMA/ACCA or equivalent
• Experience working with finance relate projects, system implementation or budgeting

Alexander Daniels is currently working with a reputable organisation in the Leisure and Tourism industry, based in the Worcestershire area to recruit a Financial Accountant on a temporary basis, which holds the possibility of becoming permanent.

You will be reporting directly to the Group Finance Manager.

Responsibilities include:

- Completion of statutory accounts
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Manage the payroll system
- Improving and developing financial processes
- Liaise with external auditors

You need to be/have:

- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Proven experience in a similar role within the retail or leisure and tourism sector
- Able to influence others
- Highly numerical
- Highly interpersonal and able to communicate with Finance and Non-Finance people

The ideal person will have worked in a blue chip organisation or Plc.
