exists for a highly experienced and innovative commercial financial manager to join the
management team to play a key role in driving this programme forward.
As finance and resources director you will work closely with the CEO, forming a team
reporting to the high profile board of trustees, to formulate and deliver a major change
programme using the skills and property assets of the charity and by creating alliances
with relevant organisations. You will take responsibility for all the financial affairs of the
charity and its governance, developing a finance strategy leveraging its property assets to
fund growth. As leader of a newly established shared services/resources function you will
have responsibility for Accounts, Payroll, IT, Human Resources, Facilities, Project
Management, Business Development and Tender Procurement and will be tasked with
managing this team to deliver improved operational efficiencies and outcomes.
A qualified account, with an entrepreneurial approach, accustomed to work both
strategically at board level and operationally in hands-on mode you will have a proven
track record of financial, commercial, project and change management and should already
have previous experience of successfully managing a diverse range of support functions
delivered on a shared service basis. A first class team manager, communicator and
influencer who operates on a collaborative and inclusive basis you will already have
experience of working with a wide range of people ideally including people with disabilities.
Previous experience of working with charities and of charity law would be helpful as would
experience of health and safety in a property management context.

• To assist with transition planning and implementing Care plans, risk assessments and guidelines for new and existing service users. Ensure health and safety requirements are adhered to in line with their policy and legislation.
The right candidate will have:
• Proven experience shifts / people shifts within a residential care environment.
• NVQ / HSCD Level 3 (or 2) or willingness to work towards.

A large Special Needs school in Redbridge requires a dynamic Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) teacher to start in September 2013.
Students have a wide range of needs; however their main statemented need will be Autism (ASD) or Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD).
The particular class they are recruiting for is a small class of six KS2 students with severe Autism. Many of the students are non verbal and you would have the support of four non-teaching staff.
Planning will be required as most students are working at P levels. You will have experience working within a Special Needs school, especially with Autism (ASD). Knowledge of Picture Exchange Communication (PEC’s) or Makaton are desirable but not essential. It is more important you have a demonstrated background with working with ASD pupils and have worked with the secondary aged ASD pupils before.
