Salary: Weekdays £13.21 ph / Weekends £13.61 ph
Company Description:
Our client is a well-established 70 bedded Care Home specialising in the care of patients with Dementia type illness. They are currently looking to appoint a motivated RMN / RGN to lead a team of care staff to deliver the highest standard of care.
The experienced RMN / RGN to join their team will possess the ability to assess, plan, deliver and evaluate a high personalised standard of holistic and evidence based nursing care which meets the individual needs of residents. The home has achieved and maintained the Enhanced Quality Awards in Newport and recently gained Dual Registration.
Duties will include:
• Leading Shifts
• Management of residents care and wellbeing
• Manage medication
• Liaise with GP’s
• Arrange escorts to hospitals
Essential Skills:
• A strong knowledge Dementia care
• A valid NMC Pin
• Professionalism and good presentation at all times
Also please note that current rate of pay is due to increase in October 2013.
