The Role:

The successful Digital Account Director will be expected to:

- Oversee the strategic development of each account & increase the volume of work when appropriate. Spotting & developing opportunities with our clients, turning projects into accounts
- Support ongoing business development activity, involvement in and management of digital pitches
- Produce and deliver against an agreed account plan and budget.
- Produce and monitor accurate and clear forecasting.
- Be a leader of your team, offering direction and support, ensuring the agency have the correct level of skills to grow the accounts

Requirements:

Ideally 4+ years Account Management experience

Working as part of a small team of Finance Assistants - this role will report to a FC based the North West

Our Client is a global manufacturing group - they are looking for a PQ - AAT / CIMA / ACCA who will commit to a maternity cover until at least the end of January 2014 (there may be further scope to extend after that)

On a day to day basis you will be using SAP - THEREFORE SAP IS ESSENTIAL

The main functions of the role will include;

- review of aged debt listing

- working with major customers to resolve issues that are preventing payment

- credit control and account management by telephone, letter and email

- working to eliminate issues moving forward

- production of weekly cash flow forecast

- reconciliation of debtor accounts

- allocation of receipts on SAP

- preparation of reports and analysis as directed by the FC

- maintaining master data records

- ad hoc duties as requested

This role is extremely varied and needs someone who is capable of working unsupervised and able to use their own initiative
