Our client is one of the UK's largest Asbestos Removal, Surveying and Thermal Insulation contractors, they are able to offer a comprehensive service enabling them to work closely with their clients from conception to completion of projects, identifying the risks and ensuring that work is undertaken in line with current legislation.
They currently require an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to be based out of their Gloucestershire office.
The successful candidate must posses;
P402 Qualification as a minimum
P403 and P404 are advantageous but not essential
Applicants holding the S301 and CCP qualifications will also be considered
Minimum of 1 years experience in the asbestos industry
Experience of surveying all types of property (domestic, commercial and industrial)
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to work as part of a team and to own initiative
Willingness to travel
Duties within this role will involve conducting management, refurbishment and demolition surveys to a variety properties which will primarily include domestic housing stock, local schools, hospitals, office blocks and commercial premises. You will be expected to posses sound knowledge of current legislation and HSG 264, as you may be required to provide advice relating to asbestos, to clients and contractors from time to time.
This role does involve travelling as you will be expected to cover contracts around Birmingham and also into Bristol. Because of this you will need to have a willingness to travel and also posses a full UK driving licence.
