Mt Client is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Project Manager / Scrum Master to join one of the UK's fastest growing and
innovative telecoms and communications companies. In your role you will be responsible for driving projects through to a successful conclusion. They require a skilled and experienced project manager who is committed to Agile processes and is willing to take on responsibility for all aspects of the software development & delivery of voice enabled applications including IVR, Speech Recognition and Voice Biometrics.
As a Project Manager / Scrum Master you will provide direction and guidance to the project team (Software Development, Developers, Analysts, Testers, Support) and ensure the team is focused on delivering the solution. You must work on your own initiative and be able to quickly build
strong relationships with customers, partners and other colleagues. You must be able to "hit the ground running" and take responsibility for driving projects to successful conclusions.
In this role you will take responsibility throughout the duration of the project for internal and external communications and ensure everyone knows where we are in any project at any point in time.
This is a high profile role and is a great opportunity to develop an Agile practice that can make a difference and have full responsibility for important and visible software development projects.
Skills required for the Agile Project Manager / Scrum Master (Software Development Lifecycle & Delivery) are:
* Strong experience as a Project Manager / Scrum Master in a software development and delivery environment
* Knowledge of Agile software development process and iterative development
* A toolbox of processes and supporting tools to help with project management and communications
* Experience of working on and delivering multiple projects at one time
* Leadership
* Ability to direct Software Developers, Business Analysts and Testers
* Ability to build trusted relationships and respect with all project stakeholders
* A strong personality and someone who can lead, drive and have the ability to report and effectively communicate with Senior Management
Any certifications in Prince2, PMI, ScrumMaster, APM, DSDM would be of interest but by no means essential. They are expanding they're product suite and enhancing and developing it continually so this is a great time to join a company as they continue to invest in technology.

My client is one of the world’s leading Wind Farm players & due to expansion of their wind farm portfolio they are looking to recruit a Development Project Manager who will have responsibility for project managing the development of wind farm sites in Scotland.
Role will be based in Glasgow.
Key Responsibilities:
Role will involve site screening & selection through to consenting & financial close of wind farm projects. You will be responsible for planning & co-ordinating internal & external resource as required to deliver projects, including engineering & technical support, Environmental Impact Assessment studies, grid studies, consultants, commercial support + other stakeholders.
You will also formulate & implement project development plans & manage development budgets. Please note there will be extensive travel throughout Scotland.
The Person
The ideal candidate will have a degree or equiv in an Environmental, Engineering, Planning or Science based subject with relevant exp. of developing infrastructure projects. Knowledge in renewables or conventional power generation is preferred but not essential.
You will have proven experience of successfully dealing with planning authorities & other project stakeholders, including landowners, project contractors, external consultants & development partners. With an aptitude for project management and leadership, you will be self-motivated with a keen interest in the renewables industry.
Finally you need to be an outgoing team player with excellent interpersonal skills & entrepreneurial abilities. A current driving licence is essential.
