We are currently recruiting Consultants for the following position.
Software Engineers:
Altran have a number of projects in the Automotive sector developing ECU software for both Diesel and Gas Engines. We are looking for an embedded software Engineer with good knowledge of Python scripting to join this team. The applicant should have the following experience: 
Required:
Python Scripting (2+ years)
C coding (2 + years)
Integration and test
Clearcase or similar version control.
Desirable:

Perl experience
Software and Systems validation using HiL, SiL dSpace and Control      Desk
Knowledge of or ability to read systems designs using Matlab      Simulink.

Automotive ECU experience is preferred however a strong CV in a different sector with experience of any of the described areas will also be suitable.
EDUCATION: BEng, BSc or higher in Mechanical, Electronics or Computing

Model based control Engineers in the Automotive sector:
Altran have a number of projects in the Automotive sector developing ECU software for both Diesel and Gas Engines. This covers the full lifecycle from design through to testing. We are looking to grow this team in the area of model based control. 
Applicants with the following skills should apply:
Required
Control systems design and modeling using Matlab Simulink. RTW and TLC are desirable. Clearcase or similar version control software.
Desirable:

 Software and Systems validation using HiL, SiL dSpace and Control Desk.
 C coding.
 Python or Perl
