An exciting opportunity has come available for a Maintenance Technician - Electrical Bias based in Gateshead

Immediate start - Permanent - Full time - £28,000-£30,000

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Prompt attendance of breakdowns as and when required.

· Carrying out PPM to suit maintenance plans.

· Routine electrical maintenance on site e.g. installation, re-wires.

Main Duties

· To assist the Maintenance Manager in all aspects relating to electrical maintenance with an aim to reduce plant down time and increase availability of the production facility. Day to day duties are varied depending upon current running issues.

Supervisory Duties

· As a maintenance electrician you will be responsible for your own time management which is monitored through the Lead Technician/ Manager.

Knowledge and Skills

· You will be a time served electrician with experience of working in a production environment where downtime must be minimised. A "Can do" attitude is required and PLC experience is a necessity.

Hours of Work

· Working a continental shift rota, 2 x 12 hour days, 2 days [contact details removed] followed by 2 nights [contact details removed] (4 days off)
