We are currently looking for an IT Systems Manager for an Edinburgh based client. This is an excellent opportunity for potential career advancement and exposure to leading edge technology.
As well as leading the team you will be responsible for the delivery of all I.T. systems and services
Main Responsibilities
* Ensure that all IT needs are anticipated and that the provision of systems and services is well planned and efficiently executed.
* Ensure all IT systems adhere to corporate policies, influencing the policy, or implementation of the policy, where appropriate.
* Develop and agree the IT budget with key stakeholders and manage all IT procurement within it.
* Hands on support for the operation and maintenance of all IT systems including those required by Research & Development teams.
* Accurate reporting of key projects, helpdesk statistics etc.
* Provide IT expertise and consultancy to Research & Development projects.
* Full management of the IT Team, providing advice, support and direction.
Essential Skills
* Experience of developing, adapting and delivering on plans up to 1 year out
* Proven experience of IT Department Management
* Design, implementation and maintenance of complex IT services; must be multi-skilled having a knowledge of networks, servers, applications, anti-virus, and security systems and products
* Substantial experience of VMware solutions
* Must have hands-on experience of providing customer support and be capable of complex problem solving and the interaction of a variety of systems and protocols

You
You will be an experienced recruiter who is fed up with making money for someone else and really want to ‘go it alone’.
You will have worked in a UK recruitment agency situation for upwards of 2 years

1. The type of recruitment you do temps or perms – we have experience of both
2. Targets – set your own ‘GP’ & Perm’ invoiced targets.
3. How much money you want to make – take the money out of the business or invest in its development.
4. Where you work – home, serviced office – your choice
5. Who you work with and when the right time to hire someone is
6. Which clients to deal with and what fee structure is right for you
Charges
There is no set up fee, the investment is made by us. The recruiter retains 70% of billings. This is not a franchise, you operate under your own name.
