Firmware Development Engineer - Edinburgh

Global leader driving the transformation of the electronic design automation (EDA) industry has a new role near Edinburgh for a skilled Firmware Engineer with ideally 10 yrs plus relevant commercial expertise.

Applicants must have strong Embedded C / Assembler ideally developing software for ARM architectures with knowledge of Linux drivers and a strong appreciation for hardware.

Knowledge of interfaces such as Ethernet, PCIe, Flash and the ability to co-debug firmware and hardware would be beneficial. Suitable candidate will be able to create high quality documentation and be a good communication at high technical level with firmware and hardware engineers as you will be working in a team spread over multiple timezones.
