Do you hold a Sports Degree? Do you have experience of working with young people as a youth worker, sports coach or in secondary school? ABC can offer a fantastic route into Teaching as a Cover Supervisor.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with young people and help them to be successful students. We are looking for candidates to cover classes when staff are absent on a day to day basis in secondary schools across the Sandwell and Dudley areas.

This post would be ideal for a sports graduate who is considering teaching as a career and wishes to gain secondary school experience in teaching PE as well as a wide range of classroom subjects.

The successful applicant will be required to have good organisational and communication skills as well as at least 20 days experience within a school setting or working with children (Coaching, Youth Worker)

Competitive rates of pay are available starting from £60/day.

All applicants are required to hold a degree and have referencable experience and is subject to the candidate undertaking a full background check and completing a CRB disclosure.

Under the leadership of the new Head Teacher is eager to appoint a experienced primary teacher with responsibility for literacy across all key stages. The head has objectives in places which should see the school go forward and things are set to change promptly.

My client school is one that has struggled over the past few years. This is mainly due to the quality of the teaching staff and the leadership team not recognising where improvement is needed.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced primary teacher with at least 2 years experience that has consistently been deemed as ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’. You will be given responsibility of leading English throughout the school, ensuring that it is taught effectively by your fellow colleagues.

The school has a very strong community feel, many staff, governors and volunteers at the school were either pupils or have had links with the school since their own children attended.

The school continues to build on its privileged position to be part of the local community, holding book fairs!); harvest festival, with the food collected going to the Welcome Centre for the homeless; celebrations of a range of religious festivals, including the annual Carol Service at their local church and sports day at their local park.

The school is well equipped. There has recently been a new ICT suite installed and the pupils are taking full advantage of the state of the art laptops and PC's that are available to them.
