Digital and Communication Engineer Digital technology technical lead Job Description: system security Digital technology technical lead Our Client is currently embarking on a period of significant growth of our Electrical capability. To enable growth we require a Senior Digital and Communications Technology expert to help develop our strategy and lead our service development. Requirements: Ideally this candidate will have experience of a variety of industries including at least one of Defence, Telecoms and Process Industries. The candidate should have a strong technical and project background, and preferably a minimum of 10 years design experience. Good technical understanding of fundamental principles of digital technology and communications theory and its practical applications; in particular with regard to system security . Experience of firmware development (eg VHDL) and communication protocols is desirable. Experience should include: * Digital technology technical lead * Communications systems experience * Interpretation of clients' technical needs * Technical leadership on projects * Mentor/supervisor of staff * Preparation of proposals * Lead marketing initiatives * Develop growth strategy * Ability to manage own workload and set priorities * Project management Ideally the candidate should have previous consultancy experience, including responsibility for business development. Key to this role is the ability to develop Our Client growth strategy within the area of Digital Technology, developing and generating new business streams. Consequently the candidate should be able to identify target areas for Our Client, develop our products and services and mentor staff as appropriate to meet the requirements. History Teacher
A fantastic high achieving school located in Surrey is looking to appoint a history teacher from as soon as possible on a Long Term Contract.
The school performs well in terms of academic achievement (over 90% A*-C grades at GCSE last year) and pupil behaviour at the school tends to be excellent.
The school consistently receives "outstanding" Ofsted reports and the history department is well facilitated and the Head of History is experienced, approachable and supportive. The successful history teacher will be expected to teach history at KS3 to GCSE standard. An A-Level history timetable may be available to a suitably qualified and experienced history teacher but teaching to A-Level standard is not a requirement for applying to this role. The school is happy to accept applications from newly qualified history teachers as well as from history teachers with more experience.
