Regional Commercial Accountant

Our client is one ofYorkshireleading Business Services organisation who is recruiting for a Regional Commercial Accountant to support the Business Operation teams. With the recent growth and continued success this is a fantastic opportunity to undertake a hands on approach coupled with an opportunity to support and contribute towards the strategic direction of the business.



Within the role you will be responsible for:-

* Control and analyse business performance - provide analysis and insights to the business for any course correction or enhancement.
* Support on contract negotiations ensuring contracts are commercially viable as well as in line with current and future market trends.
* Ensure financial responsibility and accountability for the business function supported.
* Take full responsibility of CAPEX for the business and work closely with the Finance Director and Operations Director to identify, support and authorise expenditure on projects.
* Provide full support in development of budgets and forecasting models and ensure regular update and maintenance of the model.
* Provide qualitative analysis of financials at a regional and business level on a regular basis.
* Participate in Operational and Management meetings to provide essential analysis from a commercial perspective and assist in decision making.
* Be responsible for providing guidance, training and development opportunities to the team and drive them to high standards of performance.



Ideally you will have a finance qualification ACA, ACCA, CIMA and have experience of partnering with non finance teams. You will be supporting the wider business so you will have the skills to communicate finance to non-finance staff and influence where possible. Supporting the wider business you will be in a position where you embrace travel – this is not a desk job.
