Position Description
Supply Timing Analyst is responsible for the procurement of material to support all Prototype engine and vehicle build phases undertaken.
Maximising the availability of brought-out components ensuring robust parts supply for all new model programmes within the cycle plan with a known parts status.
Skills Required
Manage changing priorities whilst maintaining focus.
Be numerate with a good grasp of Microsoft Office applications.
Communicate well at all levels both verbally and in writing establishing good company/supplier relationships.
Candidate must hold a full driving license and be willing to travel between sites regularly.
Ability to perform well under pressure with high levels of responsibility.
High level of self-motivation and determination together with the ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
Experience Required

The role is to be a CAD based design engineer within the base engine department with technical expertise in at least one key area of base engine engineering.
Skills Required
Candidates must be advanced users of Catia V5 (a proficiency test assessment will be performed).
UGS Teamcentre knowledge is ideal but not essential
Skills Preferred
Design of engineering systems on high performance diesel and/or petrol engines, ideally combined with some engine installation design experience.
Knowledge of engine test methods on dyno and in vehicle.
Knowledge of analytical test methods.
Experience in the design of major aluminium cast components and the machining there of. Creation of detailed drawings including GD&T, interpretation and application of engineering standards, compilation of detailed dimensional tolerance stackups and checking for approval of such.
Able to work efficiently within a team and to communicate efficiently with external teams including component suppliers and external contractors
Experience Required
Candidates must have gained experience working within an automotive OEM and have worked on base engine system design for a prolonged period.
Education Required
Engineering degree preferred
