The role is responsible for the production of monthly management information for a group of Companies, produce statutory returns, year end, cashflow forecasts, fixed asset register, balance sheet reporting and VAT returns as well as other duties.

As Senior Finance Manager at Deeside you will report in to the Head of Finance for Manufacturing with a dotted line in to the Head of Operations, providing sound financial leadership support challenging the Head of Operations and site General Manager, you will be accountable for:

> Maintaining good financial control of P&L and Balance Sheet in the organisation
> Provisioning of accurate and timely management information
> Providing financial support and challenge to the Head of Operations and Site General Manager
> Provision of accurate profit budgets and forecasts
> Implementing rigorous capital expenditure evaluation and reporting techniques
> Providing leadership and effective management of the site finance team

What we need from you...

You will be an integral part of the manufacturing group senior finance leadership team and operational leadership team, you will have a track record for delivering profit growth and be able to demonstrate strong commercial acumen through driving margin improvements. A strong finance business partner who can role model leadership behaviours and create a compelling vision for the Deeside finance agenda.

To be successful in this role you will need to be a fully qualified accountant who has had financial experience in a fast paced manufacturing or retail environment, previous system implementation experience will be seen as huge benefit to your application.

You may have worked in the following capacities:
FMCG Accountant, Site Accountant, Manufacturing Accountant.
