Sales Manager – Quantity Surveyor Job Purpose
• Support the development and performance of sales activities in all aspects of identified markets and customers.
• Assist in developing a business plan and sales strategy for the key markets/customers that supports achieving of company sales targets.
• Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
• Assists in identification and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
• Provide and record timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all enquiries submitted for pricing, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
• Create and conduct proposal presentations and invitation to Tender responses.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented.

Sales Manager – Quantity Suveyor General Responsibilities
• Assist in the planning, co-ordination and implementation of the sales and business development activities of the business in order to meet its sales objectives.
• Maintain historical and develop new client relationships to ensure high levels of client tender receipt and customer satisfaction.
• To ensure tenders are completed on-time and of sufficient quality to secure contracts and develop the business.
• To ensure project offers are both profitable to the business and attractive to the customer.
• To ensure all sales activities meet with group standards for quality management, health and safety, environmental policies and local laws to which the business find itself operating under.
• Monitor sales reports, and other performance data to measure efficiency to determine areas needing cost reduction, program improvement or price adjustment.
• Liaise with Project Managers to ensure our activities are compliant with our agreed scope/contract and to identify areas of additional revenue within a contract.
• Demonstrate ability to interact and co-operate with all Company employees and contractors.

As a Development Chemist you will:
• Lead the development and application fit of new heat transfer fluids.
• Design procedures, experiments, test rigs and equipment to provide thorough laboratory simulation of field conditions to assist performance evaluation of developmental products, particularly in relation to corrosion performance.
• Provide application and technical support for existing and developmental products for commercial customers.
• Work closely with Sales and Marketing to identify and explore opportunities to innovate in support of the existing range of materials.
• Leverage technology know-how, skills and techniques from external centres of excellence as appropriate to support the innovation plans of the business.
The ideal Development Chemist will hold the following skills and experiences:
• Strong background in the practical development of chemical formulations for specific market sector needs.
• Experience in heat transfer fluids and / or corrosion would be an advantage.
• Relevant experience in formulation development through to full scale manufacture, including product specifications initial manufacture monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Research degree (PhD / MSc) is preferable, but consideration will be given for relevant experience.
• Experience in working within a customer facing technical function and with commercial colleagues. An understanding of the sales process would be an advantage.
• Flexibility to travel when required.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
