MECHANICAL / RELIABILITY ENGINEER - cleveland - £35-45K This is a genuinely rare and exciting opportunity for a chemical engineer to work for a for a top-tier COMAH listed speciality chemical manufacturer. You will have input and scope on a number of projects and provides a genuinely interesting and challenging career opportunity. Skills: 1. PURPOSE OF JOB To drive continuous improvement of all aspects of mechanical engineering on Site. To provide support to Site Operations and Maintenance teams in line with production demands and business goals for all Mechanical issues. To uphold existing related site standards for compliance with current legislation and requirements. To assist in delivering Engineering strategy to aid Operational Excellence and improve reliability to enhance plant operating efficiency, with due regard to budget compliance. Reports to the Engineering Group Leader and management and supervisory responsibility for a maintenance team including maintenance supervisor, 4X mechanical fitters, 2 x Instrument techs, 1 x Electrician. Liaise with Production and Maintenance departments on priorities, equipment availability and plant performance. Report into and liaise with Corporate management and Engineering teams. Qualifications: Experience and Qualifications Ideally degree qualified mechanical engineer with chemical process plant experience. Would also look at time served apprentice with HNC/HND and good level of experience. Exec Engineers welcome applications from candidates of all ages.
