This position is suitable for those looking to build on their existing administration skills or to begin a career in the banking industry. A heavily administrative role, candidates will be required to administer loan applications on the in house system, process tasks such as base rate changes and calculate credit scores. The role also incorporates a little call handling with clients in order to update database records. Work as part of a highly motivated, flexible and responsive team to ensure that Service Level Agreements are adhered to and deals are executed in a timely fashion.

Job Description
This role has responsibility for planning, managing and executing a wide variety of ATR projects on a pan European basis. The role will have contact with teams in many European countries.
This role will be expected to plan and execute a wide variety of projects often on a simultaneous basis. This role will operate as a European-wide ATR resource able to adapt to new challenges and situations whilst delivering in demanding situations. The role will suit someone who thrives in a varied environment and who enjoys working on a project style basis.
This role will report directly to Assistant Controller but will be expected to occasionally take direction from and work with non ATR personnel.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Planning and execution of exceptional or non-standard commercial accounting activities such as Mergers and Acquisitions, Restructuring Transactions, Divestments, Reporting Changes, Financial System changes.
• Support project work on future scope expansion of European Shared Service responsibilities into new regions or new service offerings.
• This role represents the ATR group but will potentially be asked to support other work-streams depending on the nature of the work.
• Support all process improvement initiatives.
• Other Financial Project work as required to meet evolving objectives in area of operation.
The Individual
• Graduate calibre, with Accounting Professional qualification or equivalent.
• 8-10 Years of experience in Finance, ideally gained in a multicultural environment.
• Highly numerate and able to deliver under pressure to strict deadlines.
• Background in Accounting with a wide experience of different accounting roles.
• A good knowledge of legal and operational activities would be beneficial.
• Interest in wider risk management & macro-economic environment.
• Exposure to major ERP system, preferably SAP.
• Operate with a service orientated attitude.
• Very autonomous able to set challenging objectives and engage others to help achieve them.
• Self-motivated attitude to work with ability to work in a proactive manner with diverse terms.
• Confidence to lead discussions with senior leaders when required.
• Willingness to travel throughout Europe as needed.
• Ability to work in a matrix organisation driving collaboration across businesses and functions.
• Orientation to work with deadlines when required.
• Fluent English is essential;
