An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Research & Data Executive to join the company.
Reporting to the Head of Insight & Proposition as part of the Group Marketing function, this role offers the opportunity to join a rapidly growing and progressive team of researchers and analysts that are responsible for generating actionable market, customer and consumer insight, and feeding this into decision making at all levels across the business. The main focus of this role will be to analyse and interpret data from a range of quantitative sources, making recommendations to optimise their product, pricing and location strategies.
It is essential that the successful candidate is a graduate (or graduate equivalent), with an analytical degree. You will have post-university experience and will have developed strong commercial acumen and organisation skills.
A confident self-starter that is comfortable working both autonomously and as part of a team, you will have an innate curiosity and enthusiasm for market, customer and consumer insight. You will be a good listener with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and have the ability to articulate complex issues with simplicity and clarity. It is also important that you are an analytical, structured thinker with a naturally logical approach to problem solving and have an astute eye for detail; and will be able to work to tight deadlines without sacrificing quality. It is also essential that you are proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Although not essential, experience of data analytics, quantitative or qualitative research would be beneficial.

The successful candidate will be expected to design and develop our range of products using 2D/3D modelling tools (preferably Autodesk Inventor) as well as compiling design reports and maintenance manuals.
The Mechanical design engineer should ideally benefit from the following
Mechanical engineering degree
Knowledge of design and manufacturing processes
Key skills in the areas of CAD drawing, stress analysis and fluid dynamics
Excellent organisational and communication skills and the ability to work on a number of projects simultaneously
Knowledge of high pressure valves for Nuclear, Oil and Gas or Space
Graduate applicants will be provided with full training
