As Senior Sales Finance Analyst you will be working alongside the Finance Manager and co-piloting with the Sales Trading Director to develop, implement and maintain management controls and corporate financial policies as applicable to UK Commercial operations.
Your principle accountabilities will include the following:
• Develop an understanding of promotional spending incurred by sales to develop an appropriate budget and implement control processes to track spending for reviewing with National Account Managers.
• Review returns on investment programs and modify them to suit the competitive environment by implementing post audit processes to control spending effectively
• Develop Customer based P&L’s to aid National Account Managers in making spending decisions
• Support customer JBP programs and develop financial models to provide scenario planning analysis.
• Partner with the Sales Operations department to facilitate process improvement for liquidations, sales forecasting, inventory control, and deduction management.
• Review of all accounting treatments for any payments made to customers including Business Development Agreements, promotional spending, trade advertising, performance payments, etc. to ensure that accounting methodology is in agreement with corporate standards. Liaise as needed with Controllers department to establish accounting policy.
The successful candidate will have excellent academics, be a qualified accountant and have 3-5 years experience as a business analyst. My client is looking for someone with real passion and a thorough understanding of FMCG business. The salary is competitive and the benefits on offer are excellent.
