ROLE:
The Product Manager will manage the Venous insufficiency (Hydroven) segment and Vascular Therapy Garment portfolio from a holistic approach (cradle to grave) in conjunction with senior management and key ArjoHuntleigh stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) Actively manage the Venous insufficiency segment in all markets; to actively manage the VT garment portfolio and to support sales companies and distributors in increasing profitable revenue and market share of these products, including: Segment Strategy development and execution- indicating and driving strategic direction.
b) Creating and driving the Product Development and Product maintenance roadmaps. PDP project execution in liaison with PDP team; PMP project execution in liaison with PMP team. Pricing maintenance and strategy- including TP2 pricing ensuring profitability is maintained.
c) Measure performance by segment and by SSU – making amendments to strategy where required. Develop clinical expertise in the Venous insufficiency segment – manage the clinical pipeline in liaison with the Clinical Department.
d) Develop key KOL relationships in the Venous insufficiency segment. Identify/ attend key conferences in the VT segment where relevant. Monitor and share key externally published Venous insufficiency clinical study developments worldwide.
e) Generate roll-out plans and launch packs for new products and (where relevant) assist in launch activities nationally and internationally. Develop and execute relevant promotional strategies; marketing collateral and e presence in liaison with the Global Marcoms Department.
f) Manage the product post market surveillance where applicable. International travel and interacting with other business cultures is an inherent part of the role – developing relationships in key markets is critical.
g) Develop the segment strategic direction and drive the execution.
h) Manage an agreed budget set for specific objectives.
i) Manage the ongoing product stewardship. Provide monthly reports on key segment activities and provide monthly financial reports on portfolio.
k) Communicate to and build constructive relationships with all relevant internal and external parties, suppliers, opinion leaders and customers.
l) Any other duties reasonably requested to deliver business needs in jobholder’s area of expertise.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
a) The jobholder will require a Product, Commercial, Business or Marketing Management background with good numeracy.
b) Ideally experience of marketing or selling in medical devices industry.
c) A degree in Business, Marketing, or Science / Engineering is preferred, together with high computer literacy (MS Outlook, web searching, MS Excel and MS Powerpoint).
d) Experience of market analysis and customer research is required.
e) Competent at leading projects involving cross functional teams and global markets.
f) Capable of developing, presenting and gaining approval for key product strategies at Senior Management level within the central team and Product Manager/Marketing Manager/Director level in direct and indirect markets.
g) Driving Licence and willingness to undertake significant international travel are essential.

Position: SSC Transactions Supervisor
Location: Houghton Regis (Luton)
Salary: £25,000-27,000 pa
ROLE:
The Transactions Supervisor is responsible for managing the Accounts Payable (“AP”) and Re-invoicing (“RI”) function. Working under the direction of the Shared Service Controller, the Transactions Supervisor oversees and is responsible for maintaining AP and RI best practice and procedures to ensure accurate maintenance of Accounts Payable ledgers and the timely preparation of schedules, reconciliations & other relevant materials.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) Supervise the AP and RI function and the daily processing of Supplier invoices, ensuring that: All invoices are properly authorised, coded correctly, and input onto correct supplier account, that all relevant tracking numbers are recorded on the invoices and that filing is completed on a daily basis. Supplier invoices are checked and matched with Purchase Orders and Goods Received Notes.
b) Ensure that supplier payments are applied promptly, and reconciled with Supplier Statements by 10th of every month.
c) Manage and chase up all queries within 14 days of Supplier Statement reconciliations being performed, ensuring credit notes are received. Provide SSC GL Manager with evidence of accuracy and completeness in the AP sub-ledger, together with accrual information such as GRNI report.
d) Maintain authorised supplier list for stock and non-stock purchases. Review GRNI reconciliations for accuracy and completeness. Review monthly Inter-Group recharge invoices and dealing with any related queries and ensuring all recharges GL accounts are reconciled.
e) Ensure Inter-Group balances reconciled – including both the Sales and Purchase and Ledgers. Review Foreign Exchange differences monthly provision for both Intra-Group Creditors and Debtors.
f) Review Inter-Group debtor’s payment request via the Web-netting. Ensuring the NS Order system is maintained and kept up-to-date, ensuring orders are sent to suppliers and orders closed when invoices are processed
g) Seeks continuous improvements to processes such as invoice authorisation, matching, input, scanning, EDI and paperless remittance advices.
h) Ensure process documentation up to date, including Work Instructions and Checklists.
i) Maintains an organized set of detailed records and files for audit purposes and appropriate document retention, including a log of compliance spot checks to ensure procedures are followed.
j) Provides training to new and existing staff as needed.
k) Advises staff how to handle non-routine transactions. Handles personnel issues relating to staff conflicts, absenteeism, and performance.
l) Supports special projects and workflow process improvements – e.g. M3 implementation.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
a) Knowledge of Core accounting skills, including an understanding of how the Chart of Accounts works, and previous General Ledger coding experience.
b) Previous experience in similar Accounts Payable roles, with ability to collate and report AP KPIs with supporting analysis.
c) Methodical, well organised, and able to adhere to deadlines under pressure; ability to apply AP process knowledge to practical business environment.
d) Ability to tackle AP issues and drive improvement; computer literate, and a good telephone manner.
e) May require some travel within the UK & overseas at times. Work the hours to meet the demands of the role.
