From September 2013, the Head Teacher is looking to appoint an exceptional Teacher of Mathematics to meet the growing needs of the Mathematics Faculty. Results in Maths have improved significantly in recent years. The school have new leadership and are building a new team as we look to the future.
The successful applicant will be joining a highly skilled and motivated team. The role is a full-time post and will involve teaching mixed ability groups at all key stages. The Maths Faculty consists of six full-time specialists, one part-time specialist and an eighth part-time teacher. Accommodation is in six classrooms mostly on one floor of a newly built block. All classrooms have access to the internet and interactive whiteboards. The Faculty have built up a considerable bank of ICT based resources in recent years and these are used extensively to support delivery of the Mathematics curriculum.
To be considered for this role you will;
-be a Mathematics specialist with QTS
-have a good honours degree in Mathematics
-demonstrate evidence of Continuing Professional Development
-have good communication skills, classroom management, motivational and management skills

Graduates applying for these roles should have good communications skills and work well with other people, since the applicant would be expected to work within teams of varying sizes and be able to communicate ideas and issues with others members of the team. Applicants for these roles should also be well organised, and should be able to plan and manage their own work to meet the requirements of those for whom they are working.
All applicants will be based in our Bath office but must be willing to travel and work on client site for extended periods of time.
Education Level: Good first degree in a scientific or engineering discipline, potentially a Software Engineering related Masters or Phd.
