The Company:

Our client is one of the leading independent service companies in the UK utilising state-of-the-art machinery in a high speed manufacturing environment.

The position and skills required:

They have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and competent Manufacturing Maintenance Engineer with both electrical and mechanical experience to join the engineering team at their plant in Camberley, Surrey.

You will be experienced in both mechanical and electrical engineering, with a control bias being essential. It would be highly desirable if this experience has been gained in a high speed/volume manufacturing or production-type environment. Key responsibilities will include fault diagnosis, conducting repairs and carrying out preventative maintenance activity.

The Maintenance Engineer reports to the Site Engineering Manager, the team will be responsible for the maintenance of all equipment on site, diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs in a timely and efficient manner, effectively working with site production team to maintain production levels. The Senior Engineer will have a good awareness of the standards required in order to ensure compliance of all engineering standards, including engineering-related health and safety. Knowledge of PLC's would prove very useful. You must also be PC literate.These are shift based positions- early and late.

Benefits: Basic salary from £25k to £30k and company benefits.
