Are you an experienced Project Manager seeking a new opportunity? An exciting contract has arisen to join the decommissioning project based at Hunterston. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, delivering and controlling projects to time, cost and quality. Key Duties/Responsibilities/Accountabilities. To take personal responsibility for the consistent application of company projects practices and for implementing lessons learned from others. Overall responsibility for ensuring the safe delivery on a project to time, cost and quality ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory process requirements with responsibility for leading the project to a successful conclusion. Prepare and present at Validation and Sanction panels. Resource and manage a multi-disciplinary project team ensuring the availability to specialist resources (safety, environmental, design etc.). Produce the Project Execution Plan, calling on specialist resources in both the preparation stages and throughout the life of the plan. Manage risk in accordance with the Risk and Opportunity Management process. Forecast contingency required and to draw down as appropriate. Consider options for value engineering as well as the potential for changes to the scope/schedule/forecast costings. Lead CDM activities for the project in accordance with the Project Health, Safety and Environment Management process. Approve all project documents to be issued outside of the Company. Manage interfaces with other projects as appropriate. Manage significant stakeholder issues or interfaces (internal or external), multiple external suppliers, and significant contract management issues. Comply with the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality policies, procedures, work instructions and risk assessments. Support the continuous improvement of Health, Safety Environment and Quality on Site. As a customer-focused individual, the post holder will be expected to support delivery within his or her range of skills, knowledge, experience and competence. Undertake core competence roles as required. As an effective Manager/Team Leader, the post holder will be responsible for People Management, Performance Management, Control and Supervision, Loss Control, Communications, Resource Management and Management of Systems and Processes In return you will be rewarded with a competitive rate reflecting experience, a 37 hour working week and the opportunity to work for a leading company within the Nuclear industry. Are you an experienced Project Engineer seeking a new opportunity? An exciting contract has arisen to join the decommissioning project based at Hunterston. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the Line Management of projects to ensure projects or work packages are delivered safely to scope, schedule and cost, with acceptable quality and environmental performance while complying with regulatory requirements. * Supporting the preparation of project technical concepts, project strategies and implementation plans in conjunction with the Project Leader, ensuring all interfaces and stakeholder issues are addressed.. Supporting the preparation of scope specifications and estimating cost and schedule for taking projects from concept to close out. Within this to identify resource requirements and all key paperwork including as required to comply with statutory obligations; and to comply with Design, Financial, Commercial, EHS&Q, HR and Site Operational Processes operated by company and the client.. Supporting the delivery of the design, construction and commissioning of projects to scope, schedule and cost with acceptable quality, environment and safety performance.. Supporting the management of projects in line with the company processes including gating, monitoring, risk management, change control and reporting.. Support the reviews of designs to achieve an optimal and cost effective approach; and satisfy specified CDM, operability and maintainability requirements.. Identifying and co-ordinating changes to project scope in conjunction with Project Leader and company processes.. Support the management of the supply chain including production of tender enquieies, coordination of the tender process and production of tender assessments reports.. Support the co-ordination of project activities with other departments within the company including, Engineering, Operations, Health Physics, Commercial and Finance.. Support the effective implementation and monitoring of the Site arrangements to comply with statutory requirements including the Site License, RSA Authorisation and CDM Regulations.. Identifying gaps in resources.. Ensuring that all contract work is carried out in accordance with agreed procedures.. Providing day to day liaison with other sections for integregation of work into Site Programmes and optimisation of resources.. Ensuring, where applicable, that plant is designed, built, tested, installed, commissioned, operated, preserved and decommissioned in accordance with contract conditions and that appropriate records are produced throughout.. Preparing project doccumentation as required by Project Leader.. Assessing tenders and preparatory assessment/reports/contract recommendations.. Identify and record actions which may lead to savings.
