Fantastic opportunity to use your people skills to help the long term unemployed back into work!
Purpose: To play a key role in the organisation by helping to progress participants on the training programmes into sustainable employment. Guide and encourage participants to develop their confidence and employability skills and offer appropriate information, advice and guidance to help them overcome their barriers to work.
Main duties:
To effectively maintain a caseload of participants ensuring their attendance at regular one to one progress reviews and training/support sessions. Offer appropriate information, advice and guidance to help overcome their barriers to work, including signposting to relevant support agencies and partners.
Devise and monitor the participant’s Action Plan and set SMART targets at each review stage.
Support the customer when in employment and track their progress regularly.
Ensure that detailed participant records are maintained using the database and that hard copy documentation is held.
Deliver CV workshops, employability coaching and other relevant training as required.
Achieve individual monthly job outcome targets to meet the overall contract target for sustainable employment. Ensure that job outcome evidence requirements are met to support any financial/performance claims. Work with the Employer Engagement Consultants to find appropriate employment or placements for our customers.
To provide a high quality service to participants and internal and external stakeholders to ensure positive feedback through the company self assessment process and quality improvement strategy.
Promote to external agencies and employers using standard literature and materials in order to promote the company products and business.
