Our client is a specialist engineering company involved in the the design and construction of medium voltage and high voltage electrical installations up to 220kV, and they have successfully provided services to government and private sector clients.
The company is now looking to recruit a suitably-qualified electrical project engineer to join their engineering team in Cheshire.
Role and Responsibilities
-Outline designs and support for Tender Submissions
-Front end studies including short-circuit, protection and earthing
-Detail design and engineering of projects
-Project management of turnkey projects
-On-site project engineering and coordination as required
-Assist in developing leads and winning new business
Qualifications & Experience
-Degree in Electrical Engineering
-Approximately 2 years experience preferably with consultant or utility
-Extensive experience in medium and high voltage design, system protection or commissioning
-Previous involvement in business development
