Test Engineer - Environmental - 25 to 28k - Midlands

As an experienced Test Engineer you will have an understanding of engineering qualification projects and knowledge of physical environmental testing and specifications relating to vibration, shock temperature and humidity, altitude, ingress protection, salt fog, sand and dust, fatigue, HALT etc., and BS EN 60068, Mil Std 810, Def Stan 00-35, RTCA.

The Test Engineer is expected to liaise with customers, other departments, Test Engineers, Test Technicians and external suppliers. You will plan , organize and carry out all aspects of environmental tests in line with Test House procedures. This includes organising test rigs and fixtures as required and preparing Test Reports and Test Certificates.

Ideally as a Test Engineer you will have either an HNC, HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, good PC skills including MS Office applications and good written and verbal communication.
