You'll be accountable for the specification, scheduling, procurement and introduction of new and modified facilities into our assembly processes. Collaborating with Design, Manufacturing, Purchasing, QA departments and other engineers, you'll work cross functionally to deliver key engineering strategies and objectives. You'll also ensure the quality and manufacturing demands of any new parts you introduce are met by organising trials and analysing their results.
With an engineering related degree, you'll be familiar with a quality orientated, manufacturing environment and committed to quality improvement. Strong analytical and problem solving skills are essential, together with excellent project planning and management abilities. Plus the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
Of course specific process areas welcome expertise in non-ferrous casting, press die modification, MiG & resistance welding, water based paint application, plastic injection moulding and CNC machining methodologies.
