Trainee Payroll Administrator - No Experience Necessary
Salary: £16,500 to £21,000

Our client is looking for a Trainee Payroll Accountant to join our busy Support Office in London paying from £16-£21k dependent on experience. This will be a permanent full time position working Monday - Friday 9-5pm.
We are looking for the successful candidate to be responsible for the following:
* Prepare & Maintain monthly payroll (currently approx. 750 employees) Expenses, overtime bonus payments, P45 leaver, setting up new starters etc. Deductions for absence etc.
* Calculate SML, sending appropriate letters and forms to employees
* Calculate SSP, sending appropriate forms if not payable and liaising with HR and Area Manager for long term absence (advising of when SSP will no longer be payable)
* Calculate daily net pay for jury service etc
* Respond to queries from court offices, HMRC, Jobcentre plus, Government Statistics office promptly
* Manage day to day administration of pension contributions, reconciling monthly bill and authorising payment on providers website
* Prepare & maintain company credit card statements and associated database & spread sheets
* Administer the monthly payments for ATEO and HMRC
* Initiating BACS payment for overseas directors fees on a monthly basis
* Calculating overseas directors fees and PAYE on calendar year basis and notifying directors of amounts
* Prepare month end journals for payroll and intercompany recharges
* Annually assess PSA agreement
* Prepare and maintain payroll year end
* Outstanding Class 1 NIC and PAYE
* P35/P14
* P60
* P11D
* Class 1A NIC's
* PSA
The successful candidate will have:
* The ability to achieve high performance and strict deadlines
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability to manage in a pressurized environment
