My client, a high profile and fast growing multinational, is seeking to recruit a qualified Accountant from Practice or from a large company background, to join an expanding team of highly motivated finance professionals. The role lies at the heart of finance, requiring an in-depth understanding of the technical issues of accountancy coupled with the ability to demonstrate a certain level of achievement both academically and professionally. Other key attributes would be strong interpersonal and communication skills, due to the companys pursuit of a candidate who can demonstrate a desire to become a business partner and not simply another member of the Finance team. The company has recently implemented the Hyperion system and therefore knowledge of Hyperion or an aptitude for systems development generally would be attractive. Excellent prospects are attached to the role due to HRs strategy requiring every external candidate employed would be encouraged and expected to strive and achieve promotion within the shortest possible period of time. This could be either within this particular department or one of the other many head office Finance teams based in the Midlands or even internationally.
