Our client a successful Telecoms company in London are looking for Telecoms Business Analysts to support their e-Ordering
project to capture requirements, support the analysis and design, schedule and support the UAT and ORT of the iterations
and overall project.
To also support changes to service delivery projects such as Granite and CDS.
To support the large numbers of bespoke customer projects specific requirements that have recently come into IS. Business
analysis for understanding requirements, building specs, doing UAT.
* Facilitate generation of formalised business requirements for both existing and new systems
* Quality manage the system delivery against the specified requirements
* Act as a point of liaison between the business, the IS department and its external suppliers.
* Work with the Process Team to ensure requirements fit into our client's business process model and lifecycle.
Competencies required
Essential
* A Telecommunications background
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to identify issues, seek relevant data, recognise important information and be able to diagnose possible causes
* Specific experience of requirements gathering and process mapping in support of IS developments for the Service
Delivery or Operations and CRM functions
* Good written and verbal English
* Ability to develop and maintain strong operational relations with Customers/Suppliers balancing internal and external
expectations
Desirable
* Ability to learn quickly under own initiative.
* Pragmatic and common sense approach to problem solving.
* Experience at analysing iteratively and ability to deal with change
* Ability to use an acceptance test driven approach to requirement gathering, including analysing results with users.
* Specific experience of CRM or Order Management systems for Telecommunications
* Knowledge of Process Frameworks
* Experience working in an Agile environment
* Asks appropriate, probing questions to obtain the appropriate information
* Takes a logical and organised approach to problem solving
* Identifies the root cause of problems and takes positive action to prevent re-occurrence
