Our client a specialist manufacturing group supplying into the Power, Oil and Gas sectors are due to expansion looking to further strengthen their engineering design department.
Reporting to the electrical Engineering Manager you will be able to complete the electrical design process from the initial sales handover to the commissioning.
The ideal candidate will be from a time served or HNC (electrical) background with experience in working to the highest standards making sure that the customer's specifications are met.
You will have previous experience producing electrical schematics and control panel layouts using AutoCAD LT and being able the appropriate documentation in regards to design specifications, test procedures and operations.
Therefore knowledge in writing of PLC code is essential along with experience of HMI.
On a daily basis will be expected to liaise with customers within the UK and assist them with the testing and commissioning of the finished products, therefore background in generator applications, programming PLC's with the ability to work autonomously in all aspects of design and in project.
