Job Description
As a Crystal Ski Chalet Host you will ultimately be the face of the company to chalet guests and be directly responsible for making sure the customers receive a fantastic ski holiday.

From cooking and daily cleaning to stock control and budgeting, you'll be responsible for keeping things running smoothly and efficiently in your chalet. Creating a real "home from home" atmosphere for your guests, you will be providing excellent quality 3 course evening meals, homemade cakes and biscuits for afternoon tea and a hearty breakfast to give your guests their energy boost before they hit the slopes for a full day skiing.

Whether you're in sole charge of one of our chalets, or working as part of a team in a larger property, you'll need to be friendly, outgoing and enthusiastic with a passion for good food and excellent customer service.

Requirements

Essential

Evidence of customer service experience working with a diverse range of customer profiles.
Evidence of previous catering/hospitality experience.
Proven experience within a target sales environment where you have worked to individual and team set targets, including evidence of upselling.
The ability to problem solve efficiently & effectively.
Excellent interpersonal skills with an enthusiastic and positive manner.
Flexible working approach with the ability to adapt to any situation.

Desirable

Previous experience of working in a ski resort.
Passion or interest in skiing.
General Health & Safety and Basic Food Hygiene knowledge.
Attending a chalet host cookery course.
