Job Description
We want our guests to have a great holiday which means our kitchens need to run like clockwork. Whether you are doing dishes, helping chop up a mountain of fresh vegetables or making sure all the food stocks are rotated properly, you'll be a vital member of the team. During your night porter shifts you'll take responsibility for the security of everyone in the hotel, doing everything from regular fire checks to routine cleaning and preparation tasks. After finishing your shift, you'll have the whole mountain environment to explore.

As a Kitchen Porter/Night porter for Crystal Ski, your role will be split into two key areas:
As Kitchen Porter, you will be responsible for general kitchen cleaning, dealing with deliveries, making sure the washing area is clean & tidy, assist with food preparation as required in accordance with the Food Safety policy.
As Night Porter you will be responsible for the precise following of all guidelines on Health & Safety especially fire safety, snow clearance and general cleaning of public areas.

Requirements

Essential

Proven customer service experience working with a diverse range of customer profiles.
Excellent interpersonal skills with an enthusiastic and positive manner.
Flexible working approach with the ability to adapt to any situation.
Ability to work autonomously/unsupervised.
Excellent team player.
Strong Attention to detail.
Previous catering/hospitality experience preferably within a kitchen team.

Desirable

Second language in French, German or Italian.
Previous experience of working in a ski resort.
Evidence of experience working to targets where you have worked to individual and team set targets.
General Health & Safety and Basic Food Hygiene knowledge.
