Our Client is the leading provider of regional business information for senior directors of fast growing businesses and
their advisors through its monthly Magazine, weekly and daily email news bulletins, specialist websites and events.
The company hosts over 100 + business events. They have the UK's largest regional news email service. Their members are
typically regional business leaders, managing partners and business owners.
The company is headquartered in Manchester with additional offices in Birmingham, Leeds, Sheffield, Bristol and Cardiff.
Why are they recruiting for this position?
Due to ongoing growth and development in the business these persons are being sought to grow the sales revenue in their
responsible division; North West, Yorkshire and North East, South East.
What does the role require?
The successful candidate will have full responsibility to deliver their revenue objectives for their division across
magazine, online and event platforms.
They require an ambitious experienced senior sales executive with a strong proven track record of sales success and
personal achievement. Previous B2B sales experience would be advantageous with the ability to sell up to Board Level.
The successful applicant will sell a portfolio of magazine advertising and sponsorship, sponsorship of a wide range of
business events as well as tailored online/digital solutions for clients. This role involves presenting to business
leaders and senior directors, and therefore excellent presentation and interpersonal skills are essential in order to
develop new business and grow existing accounts.
You will also be able to report accurately to senior management the current and projected performance and your ongoing
plans to deliver the business revenue objectives and maintain accurate records of all sales activity.
