A leading UK online retailer has developed a need for a Commercial Finance Manager based in the Thames Valley region. Competitive salary and great benefits are offered to the successful Commercial Finance Manager. The successful Commercial Finance Manager will work thoroughly with both finance and business groups in order to help manage and plan its financial, operational and strategic plans. Key responsibilities include: ensuring effective cost management and producing vital information for business decision-making by working closely with senior management and corporate accounting; apply sound business and financial analysis skills to ensure growth and success of the company; communicating issues directly with Director and senior management level; support internal groups in all matters including budgeting, forecasting, expense tracking; oversee the cost centre expenditures versus forecasts and budgets; provide in-depth financial and business analysis to senior management level with astute cost reducing measures; simplify and run financial review meetings at top level. The ideal candidate will be qualified (ACA, CIMA, ACCA etc) with strong financial and business partnering experience preferably within the FMCG sector. You must be a robust leader while being confident of working in cross functional teams. Rugged analytical and modelling skills are necessary with an in-depth knowledge of Excel, Access and a knowledge of the SQL software programme is desirable. You will be an excellent communicator, with great organisational skills when working to tight deadlines across numerous concurring projects.
