The Company - Our Client:
Our client is a leading developer and supplier of Practice Management systems for public accounting, consulting firms and
other service providers worldwide, particularly in Europe and the U.S.A. Their products are developed using
industry-standard Microsoft .Net (Windows forms and ASP.net) technologies and are typically deployed on Microsoft SQL
Server DBMS platforms. They are currently looking for a Sales Executive to join their expanding team based in Watford.
The Role - Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maximize the sales of our clients Payroll within designated market sectors by reaching and exceeding target and
creating new business opportunities
- Respond promptly to all approved payroll enquiries from any source and action to result in profitable sales through
appropriate selling methods
- Ensure maximum profit is sustained from leads without losing business. Liaise with BDM when more than 10% reduction in
sale price, rental price or services requested
- Optimize quality of service and customer satisfaction by liaising internally where appropriate
- Where appropriate participate in seminars, trade shows and any other suitable marketing opportunity
- Keep abreast of all new payroll software developments, ensuring capability to demonstrate and communicate these
developments to existing and potential clients
- Be aware of situation with regard to competition
- Maintain good relationships with client base
- Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts
- Ensure marketing information is as extensive as possible to enable more effective communication
- Any other duties that may be required from time to time
The Person - Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:
- At least 1 year's proven software sales experience
- Working in an IT solution market, preferably Payroll
- Ability to create and deliver presentations at all levels within an organisation
- Ability to prioritise opportunities and tasks
- Good communication, writing and customer service skills
- Good negotiating skills
- High level of computer literacy
- Valid driving licence
- Willingness to travel throughout UK
