My client is a global Insurance organisation working within the general insurance and re-insurance fields with an active presence in the captive markets. Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking an Internal Auditor to join the EMEA HQ in London. The Senior Auditor is primarily responsible for participating in audit projects across the business to evaluate the adequacy of the overall control environment in both design and application. They will also be responsible for assisting in corporate investigations, ad hoc special projects and Sarbanes-Oxley 302 and 404 compliance activities. Although this role is based in London, there is some global travel (25%) to USA, Hong Kong and across EMEA. The successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant or Auditor who is either working for a Top 10 Practice and is looking to make their move into industry or working within the Financial Services industry and seeking to expand their internal audit experience. Strong communication skills are essential as Auditors get a high level of autonomy and access to Senior Stakeholders.
