Our client is a multibillion $US consumer driven international listed company that have seen exceptional growth over the last two years and who have plans for even stronger growth over the next 2-3 years. This will be accomplished organically and through acquisitions across Europe. To help them fulfil these ambitions plans they are seeking a strong Commercial Finance Analyst to work closely with the CFO for EMEA and the European CEO to provide financial analysis and business decision support to a whole range of ad hoc projects including but not limited to the analysis of potential acquisitions, planning for start up operations in new locations, analysis of financial and operational data from existing European operations and analysis of new business opportunities. This interesting and varied commercial finance role communicates with middle and senior management across Europe and as such offers an excellent platform to progress. Progression planning has a number of routes including Country Financial Control roles, future EMEA Finance appointments and operational roles. The successful candidate will demonstrate sound accounting and finance knowledge coupled with some experience of providing influential business decision support through proven financial analysis. You will also have advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyse and summarise large quantities of divergent data and provide meaningful business summaries for senior management. This is a new role, working with one other new recruit and you will be a self-starter who can work independently at times, with the ability to take ownership and to draw the parameters of an analytical project.
