My client is a very successful manufacturer of components for the Automotive Industry OEM's. They are looking to recruit experienced Project Engineer's. Reporting to the Technical Director you will be responsible for managing the introduction of new tooling and part introduction up to the point of manufacture

Duties & Responsibilities: -

Project Coordination.
Daily customer contact.
Conduct review meetings.
Expedite actions.
Monitor & Control Project MoPs.
Customer / Supplier liaison.
Project Planning.
APQP adherence.
Creation of control plans.
Process FMEA's
Design FMEA's.
ISIR's.
Process capability.
Validation testing.
Submission and approval of PSW / PPAP.
Commercial awareness.

The successful candidates will have a proven track record in Project Engineering gained in working for Tier 1 automotive supplier.

Experienced in: -
New Product Introduction.
Product Change.
Manufacturing Support.
Supplier Support.

Experience of: -
Injection moulding processes and techniques.
Assembly.

Good supporting qualifications will be an advantage.

General requirements: -
Professional, smart, ability to 'front' the business with the customer.
Good written / verbal communication.
Needs to lead by 'Best example' - intense period of business change.
Honest, reliable, proactive, flexible and self motivated.
