One of the leading luxury travel agents in UK is currently looking for a VIP Reservations Consultant to join their
exceptional team. The successful VIP Reservations consultant needs to have experience in creating tailor-made itineraries
using nett contracts and mark ups, and have a good knowledge of the luxury leisure travel market, an understanding of
Tour Operation (set up /contracting /pricing/ operations/ financials/ invoicing) as well as have knowledge in published
fares, including ticketing and amendments, and in addition consolidated fares via CRS (Cat 35) and via consolidators. As
a VIP Reservations Consultant you will also be able to update and complete an accurate enquiry log on a daily basis, will
be able to prepare and review sales reports by supplier monthly as well as able to review enquiries versus sales
conversion and will be able to source and input relevant offers on web/email distribution channels, presenting weekly and
monthly sales figures to the Management Team, reporting regularly on the top 20 clients and providing appropriate data
for the managing director to make informed decisions. As a VIP Reservations consultant you will be responsible to
continue and develop the relationship with the suppliers of the back office system and report back to the management with
recommendations accordingly as well as maintaining and developing relationships with tour operators. You also will be
involved in ad hoc projects as directed by the MD or other members of the Management Team as well as taking a continuous
pro-active approach to the business by calling clients upon their return from travel to ascertain their overall
satisfaction with the company service as well as their holiday experience and future plans. You also need to be
self-motivated and accountable for contributing to and improving team performance resulting in improved sales and/or
productivity, and manage real time issues to ensure customer requirements are dealt with appropriately to ensure that a
premium service is provided to all customers and suppliers at all times.
