Leading global IT service provider seeking a Lead Business Systems Analyst based in Basildon, Essex - competitive salary. Are you a Lead IT Business Systems Analyst with good technical knowledge and a background in the defence or manufacturing sectors?

THE JOB:

Working with an array of high calibre clients, ranging across defence and manufacturing industry sectors, you will lead a team of Business Systems Analysts and Programmers. Your main job purpose is to support, maintain and develop the core business systems to meet the Business' information needs. You will provide expertise in understanding the business processes, translating them into systems processes across MRP, HR systems, expenses and timesheet systems.

Responsibilities include -

- Identify and manage business process and technology changes including the potential introduction of SAP
- Work with stakeholders to capture and analyse complex technical and business requirements.
- Lead and support the shaping of business requirements into process / systems solutions.
- Support the development of functional / technical specifications and solution design.
- Ensure internal helpdesk calls are managed efficiently.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- A background of working as a Lead Business Systems Analyst, ideally within the defence or manufacturing sectors
- Wide knowledge of Business Systems, specifically ERP, MRP, HR, Expenses Systems and Budgeting tools
- SQL knowledge
- Proven leadership skills
- Good technical knowledge
- Full software development lifecycle experience
- Eligible to obtain SC (Security Clearance) - must have been resident in the UK for the last 5 years
