Senior Safety Engineer required with experience of Hazard Identification, Risk Assesment, hazard Log maintenance and preparing Safety Cases required for a successful multi-disciplinary consultancy in Surrey.

The Role:
Due to growing success within a wide range of industries (rail, defence, process, energy, medical) we are looking for an experienced Senior Safety Engineer on a permanent staff basis. You will be joining an growing safety engineering team and helping to deliver leading edge safety solutions to various clients.

Responsibilities:
Provide Safety Engineering consultancy services.
Risk Assesment and ALARP demonstrations.
Independent Safety Assesment work.
Develop and maintain hazard logs.
Hazard identification and analysis.
Preparation of Safety Case reports and safety arguments.
Preparation of Technical and Commercial proposals.

Skills and Background:
Report writing ability - Excellent attention to detail and strong written presentation skills.
Ability to build relationships with clients and co-workers alike.
Problem solving and analytical approach, establish accurate and relevant information.
Self motiviated in technical development, keen to build on own abilities and knowledge.
Client facing skills, able to build rapport and present yourself as a professional consultant.

Qualifications:
Degree educated in an enginering or science based subject.
Proven commercial experience in Safety Engineering / Safety Management.
