We are currently looking to recruit for a Deputy Manager for a 34 bedded Care home based in Warwick .The Deputy
Nurse-in-Charge must demonstrate an interest in the total care of elderly people and have an understanding of their
particular and individual needs.
In addition to all the duties and responsibilities,of a Registered General Nurse, the Deputy will also be expected to be
involved in the implementation of Company policies and the direction and management of nursing and care staff.

The Deputy will maintain a quiet, calm atmosphere in the Home and, by encouragement and example, foster a happy team
spirit to ensure the well-being of the Residents and staff.
All trained staff will be expected to help with in-service training of unqualified staff and to keep abreast of current
post-registration training themselves and produce their own portfolios.
In the absence of the Matron, the Deputy will be expected to maintain the general day-to-day running of the Home. The
successful candidate will be expected to provide continuity of care, as laid down by the procedures operating within the
Home and be available to offer support and advice to all other members of staff, Residents and relatives.

5.To be responsible for staff induction and organising training programmes for Care Staff. To maintain all staff training
records.
We are ideally looking for an individual with experience in a similar post however an experienced RGN will be considered
The hourly rate is 14.14 per hour 36 hours(including 6 hrs supernumerary )
