Our client is one of the largest and most respected science and technology organisations in Europe; they are constantly
breaking new ground in the application of cutting-edge technology in their core markets of defence and security.

Due to an expansion in the Project Risk business several opportunities for Project Risk/Project Cost professionals have
been created. Roles exist for Consultant through to Principal Consultant level.

Our client requires candidates with experience as a Project Risk/Project Risk Manager, Decision Support Management
Consultant, with current knowledge of the UK Defence sector and formal risk assessment and reduction techniques as
applied to complex acquisition programmes (including risk identification, analysis and reduction, risk registers, three
point estimating, technology road mapping, and the application of system and technology readiness levels.

Ideally you will have come from a professional services consultancy involved in the UK defence market or worked within
the DE&S in a Project Risk or Cost Modelling capacity

Association of Project Management APMP; PRINCE2 (Foundation or Practitioner); MSP (Foundation Practitioner); OGC
Management of Risk (Foundation or Practitioner) qualifications would be desirable.

Applications will be accepted from candidates with a project risk/decision support management background and some of the
following experience:

Risk Management (preferably including probabilistic modelling)
Project Risk Register
Quantitative risk modelling
Programme Scheduling (eg MS Project)
Earned Value Management;
Technology Management.
Cost Modelling
Programmes: Monte Carlo, Pertmaster, Crystal Ball, @Risk.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate client and delivery focus and have a track record in the delivery of
project management, risk management and/or cost modelling consultancy, ideally in a client facing capacity. They will be
innovative in their approach to problem solving and the development of new capabilities.

The team and our customers are spread across multiple sites as such travel within the UK may be required, in line with
client commitments.

Defence Risk Consultant - Principal Risk Consultant Bristol - Circa 30K- 55K + benefits package commensurate with a
large company, including flexible benefits, bonus and pension scheme.

Due to the nature of work undertaken at our client's site, incumbents of these positions are required to meet special
nationality rules and therefore these vacancies are only open to sole British Citizens. Applicants who meet this criteria
will also be required to undergo security clearance vetting, if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level.
