Based near Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, our entrepreneurial client seeks two Accountants with strong reconciliations & reporting experience to join them as Investment Portfolio. Reconciliation Accountants within these newly created and very interesting jobs. This job is open to people from a variation of backgrounds and skills as the employer is generally looking for proven success and knowledge in previous jobs, although strong reconciliations & financial reporting are imperative. However, it is most likely that you will have experience of working with fund Managers, custodial banks, stockbrokers, investment Managers or similar. Alternatively, you could be currently working in Practice with these types of clients and feel you would like to take a step in Industry. The roles are providing reporting, investment accounting and general finance support on the performance of a newly created fund which has been set up in Geneva with traders based in London. The owner of the fund is a hugely successful entrepreneur who is using the funds of high net worth individuals predominantly on the commodities markets. Minimal investment by any individual currently stands at c50m with the highest at c500m. These positions will be reporting and reconciling the performance of each investors portfolio to ensure accurate & timely information is presented. A full job specification is expected shortly but these are brand new positions and the sheer workload has meant that nothing formal has been written up (yet!). However, the search has already begun to find these individuals so if you currently work in the City and live in Hertfordshire, this could be the perfect role to move away from the daily commute. These roles offer the chance to put your own mark on the job and develop the reporting, processes and structure on an ongoing basis.
