<p><strong>Quality Co-ordinator/ Manager </strong></p><p><strong>Manufacturing/Processing Environment</strong></p><p><strong>Up to £40K plus benefits</strong></p><p><strong>Liverpool </strong></p><p>Part of a successful UK group employing 1500 people, this <strong><em><u>growing</u></em></strong> and successful business unit  employs 300 plus operating 24/7, providing services and products to major international brands requiring high quality performance.</p><p>The plant operates in a high volume capital intensive manufacturing/processing environment, utilising state of the art plant and equipment, with a strong emphasis on delivery and customer satisfaction. As always quality is a key contributor to the success of the business.  This is a high profile position with excellent career prospects. Reporting to the Business Unit Quality Manager, the role will take responsibility for;</p><p>Managing all quality activities for a specific new customer account and ensure compliance to processes and procedures whilst identifying opportunities for improvement, innovation and cost savings across this account.</p><p><strong><u>Principle Accountabilities/Key Duties</u></strong></p><ul>
<li>Provide an objective assurance of the level of quality across the account.</li><li>Review all processes and process documentation.</li><li>Manage the risk and the framework to provide operational control and audit.</li><li>Working with key specialists at each site, develop an annual quality plan.</li><li>Review and improve the quality of service delivered to customer, identifying best practice initiatives.</li><li>Contribute and assist with the ongoing assessment of risk throughout the quality process; highlighting any risks or weakness and identifying possible resolutions.</li><li>Assist in investigations of process non conformance, working with key specialists to conduct a full investigation.</li><li>Ensure the completion of all actions identified as a result of a non conformance or ad hoc request, to specified timelines and customer/stakeholder satisfaction</li><li>Take a key role in interfacing with the customer.</li></ul>

<h2><u>Education & Experience</u></h2>
<ul>
<li>Degree or equivalent.</li><li>Experience of quality assurance gained within a “best practice” manufacturing organisation.</li><li> Must have experience within a customer facing role.</li><li>Experience of implementing compliance to process, as this is a key area for improvement.</li><li>ISO and Quality standards within manufacturing/processing environment.</li><li>Process Mapping capability.</li><li>Lean Manufacturing experience and knowledge.</li><li>Must be a compelling and effective communicator across all levels.</li><li>Ability to solve problems using a structured approach.</li><li>Able to build relationships and work with multiple stakeholders.</li><li>Must be a self motivated person who requires minimal supervision.</li><li>Must be resilient and open to change.</li><li>High level of determination, demonstrating tenacity and unrelenting drive for results.</li><li>A keen sense of priorities and excellent organisation skills.</li><li>Excellent leader and motivator.</li></ul>
