We are currently seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and qualified Lecturer to give theory and practical instruction on our Automotive City & Guilds, Diploma and Foundation Degree courses. Are you a lecturer who can inspire and motivate students of all levels to achieve their chosen qualification from Level 1 - Level 5.
Your main responsibilities will be assisting in Automotive Engineering delivery, course design and preparation, including the provision of schemes of work and individual learning plans and carrying out course evaluation and self-assessment. You must be able to deliver provision from Level 1 up to Level 5 degree courses.
The successful candidate will have an appropriate, relevant degree or equivalent level 5 qualification and previous industrial/professional experience of modern vehicle systems. A teaching qualification and assessor awards and experience of teaching 14 - 19 year old students in school or college based provision is also essential. Also an understanding of tutorial responsibilities, quality assurance procedures and current and future FE curriculum developments is required.
